What a year it has been. After opening the pop up farm shop in 2019, and receiving such a welcome reception from the public and our producers we were looking forward to a busy 2020.
Covid-19 had other plans; for us, for communities, businesses - for everyone.
Due to the measures we all put in place to help reduce the spread of the virus and save lives there have been no markets for us to attend to sell produce.
The demand for both local produce and supporting local makers hasn't stopped, in fact, it's increased! With more people appreciating the work and dedication of our local producers and growers continuing to work through tough times to keep food in our stores we've watched the support for local produce increase. It has been extremely difficult for everyone, and it's not over yet.
